The Wring

The Wring is difficult to categorize with hints of old school Rush and Black Sabbath, nuances of Alice in Chains and subtle references to great visionary bands of recent decades like Tool and Opeth. This is not a ‘pure’ prog record but there are elements of that genre placed carefully throughout. There are no 10-minute epics or extended jams, but there are interesting compositions within each song that stand on their own and yet integrate into the overall vision, making the whole much more than the sum of its parts.
